Compassion is the experience of noticing when someone is suffering and taking action torelieve their suffering. Our bodies are deeply involved in how we experience, process, andextend compassion toward ourselves and others. When we practice self-compassion, we createa sanctuary within ourselves that helps us navigate challenges with resilience, grace, andunderstanding. When we are compassionate toward others, we experience open-heartednessand connection that brings ease and unity to our bodies, relationships, and minds.
In this workshop, Dr. Goldman guides participants through experiential exercises that help them connect with the physical sensations of compassion. Through breathwork, meditation, gentle movement, and mindfulness practices, she creates a space for participants to explore and deepen their understanding of self-compassion and compassion toward others.
