Prema Breathwork and Cacao Circle

  • 2nd Story Pilates+Yoga 81-10 37th Avenue Queens, NY, 11372 United States (map)

Prema Breathwork, a version of holotropic/somatic Breathwork, is a deep healing practice that uses the power of our own breath to explore our inner landscape. Through this sacred breath practice, we are able to access conditioned patterns, emotional wounds, energetic blockages, subconscious samskaras (impressions) that are calling for our attention. This form of Breathwork gives us an opportunity to access an expanded state of awareness, beyond the critical mind, and helps us both process and heal our experiences while strengthening the neural pathways to this internal intelligence that we all hold.

Prema means love and this practice allows us to access the unconditional love and expansive compassion that we’re innately born with. This love helps us become more present and connected, drawing us closer to our truest Self.

Cacao is a sacred plant found in Central and South America. The natural plant medicine has been used for thousands of years in the Mayan culture of South America for medicinal, spiritual and ceremonial purposes. In Mayan tradition, the word cacao is literally translated as “heart blood“, emphasizing the importance the plant possesses in the process of reawakening to our true nature - fully opened-hearted beings of PREMA - DIVINE LOVE.

All participants will be required to read a preparatory guide in advance of participating in this session.

$45, early bird price is $40 through October 5
