Yoga Practices for Peri/Menopause with Jen SanMiguel

During the three stages of menopause (peri-, menopause, post-), we face an array of symptoms. Hot flashes, loss of bone density, loss of flexibility and balance, and hormonal imbalances, just to name a few. In this 2 hour workshop, we’ll use various yoga practices to help ease our transition into the next phase of our lives. We’ll work on strength, flexibility and balance through yin, vinyasa, pranayama, meditation and restorative poses, as well as a little strength training and cardio.

We’ll also come together as a group to support one another. We lose many things during the change, but we’ve also gained so much- wisdom, humor, perspective, patience and compassion. A celebration of who we are - and who we are becoming- during this stage of life will be an integral part of this workshop.
